Class 3 win Library prize!!!

Class 3 (and Mrs Halsey!) worked very hard to bring all of their library books back before the Christmas holidays, so much so that we won a prize for being the first class in the school to return ALL of our books! Well done Class 3! J

Nativity!

Year 1/2 had their nativity dress rehearsal today and performed 'Prickly Hay' to the whole school, residents from Parker Meadows Care Home, some of the Governors, Starfish, and Little Angels!

They did extremely well! Look out for their photo in the Echo on Wednesday 11th December!

Diwali!

In Year 1/2 we have been learning and celebrating the Hindu festival Diwali.

We learned all about the story of Rama and Sita, Rangoli and Mendhi patterns and how Hindus celebrate.

We made our own Diva pots out of clay and put a candle inside. We all gathered together in the hall for a celebration!

Bob Buckle comes to Redlands!

Year 1/2 had a musical treat this afternoon! Bob Buckle and his banjo came to visit Redlands! We sang lots of songs and learned all about the 5-string banjo. Check out our videos...

Lee-on-the-Solent Trip!

We all had a wonderful time at Lee-on-the-Solent! We were very excited about eating icecreams and playing in the park!

Dinosaurs!

The Year 1/2 team were very impressed with the hard work the children in Year 1/2 put into their dinosaur homework project!
Mrs Roseblade will be displaying the dinosaur models around the school soon - see if you can spot yours!
